Blog Template for EPiServer CMS 4

by: Allan Thræn

The old Research Team site isn't completely dead yet. It's still getting expanded with new cool freebies for EPiServer CMS 4.

Just now, Ruwen and I published a set of nice Blog templates for v.4, which makes it easy to build your own blog, complete with tag-clouds, feed-jumbling, archives, captcha, etc.

Once of the coolest features is support for blogging from Windows Live Writer (like in the templates for CMS 5), allowing you to use the neat and standardized interface of WLW and get some blogging done quickly.

  1. Hey Allan! Cool stuff! What about the blog template for CMS 5, is that one a freebie as well? And if so, where can one find it?
  2. There's a neat blog template for CMS 5 included in the Demo package RC1, available from the Knowledge Center's download area. In fact, you should check out the entire package - it also includes a super cool forum and lots of other fun stuff.
  3. Hello Allan, Will it work on a 4.51 platform? And thanks for the improvements.... the previous blog pagetype from the research team wasn´t that impressing... /Rune (NNE Pharma)
  4. Took a closer look - it seems like it´s build on the 2.0 .Net framework, and requires version 4.6x at least.
  5. test
