EMVP

The EPiServer Most Valued Professional (EMVP) program is aimed to promote professionals within the EPiServer developer community who are contributing with high class articles and code samples.   

The focus of EMVP is to serve as an incentive for skilled developers to leverage their knowledge to other developers in our community.

Please note that the EMVP program is not for everyone, this is the highest rank a developer can get in our community!

Requirements to become EMVP

The requirements to become an official EMVP are:

• Very high skills in EPiServer solution development.
• To be able to leverage their personal expertise to other developers in blogs, forums and sample code.
• To have written at least one high-class technical blog article about EPiServer CMS, or EPiServer CMS related technology, with top ratings.
• A certain level of professionalism is required together with some common sense netiquette

In addition to the formal requirements, the EMVP prospect needs to be approved by at least three EPiServer staff members. Nominations for new EMVP members can be posted at labs.episerver.com

The requirement to maintain the EMVP status is:

• To publish at least one high-class technical blog article about EPiServer CMS, or EPiServer CMS related technology, with high ratings every 60 days.

Benefits from being an EMVP member:

• You are allowed to expose the EMVP logo in your personal marketing. If you are fully employed by a company, the company can use the EMVP logo in their marketing.
  
• Invitations to beta programs, special developer meetings and webinars.
  
• You will get access to certain internal development blogs and projects specs, i.e. you will have a very good view on what is going on. This will require a hefty NDA to be signed by you as an individual..
  
• You are allowed to wear the official EMVP clothes (EMVP Softwear :-)
  
• You have a passport to bypass waiting lists to EPiServer events.
  
• Your EMVP logo will be exposed next to your name in your blog and forum posts, comments and other EPiServer community content.
  
• You will get one EPiServer CMS 5 Professional license to be used on any non-commercial site of your choice.
  The license will be granted as a 12 month license with automatic renewal if you are maintaining your EMVP status.

Note: EPiServer staff members cannot get an EMVP status, this program is only open for our friends outside the company.
